The Black Map #26: Dead Hands from Birmingham!

Our journey across the black map of the UK underground metal scene continues in the Midlands. Birmingham is the home of Aston Villa football club, Paranoid legends Black Sabbath, Tech-Metallers Oceans Ate Alaska and of course Dead Hands! A band that bring an eclectic fusion of hardcore and extreme Metal with a blisteringly high energy and quite frankly need to be seen to be believed! If you thought that the music that the pre-Greg Puciato Dillinger Escape Plan created was long dead, guess again! Dead Hands are that band and a bag of chips! 2016’s EP “Nobody Exists On Purpose” manages to capture that live energy and with new material in the works, it won’t be long before the band are playing a live space near you! One of the biggest surprises of last weekends Upsurge Festival came, saw and conquered all!
