Listmania: Top #5 most anticipated releases of 2019!

We are now at the point of Listmania Season where it’s time for the Top #5 most anticipated releases of 2019! These are group of releases that have dates pencilled in rather than of the “Maybe” or “perhaps” or “Winter” variety….

1. “Back To The Green Zone” by Road Mutant (4th January)

Having witnessed their live debut at Upsurge Festival in August and then relived the whole thing courtesy of David Tan, we can honestly say that Road Mutant are a phenomenal collective and a huge amount of fun.

2. TBC by The HAARP Machine (March)

Having re-tooled once more, released a single entitled “The Nadir” and launched a crowd funding campaign, Al Mu’min seems to be bringing his dream a few steps closer to reality with a second album. We just hope that it all stays together this time.

3. “Between You & Me” by InVisions (8th February)

Signing to Attila’s Stay Sick Recordings for their second album, York Deathcore crew InVisions will get the push they need to bring everything to the next level. They’ve already been confirmed on the European Mainland leg of Our Hollow, Our Home‘s “In Moment // In Memory” tour and having laid down a gauntlet at UK Tech-Fest 2018, there seems to be no stopping them!

4. “Ethereal” by Shokran (8th February)

2016’s “Exodus” is a Tech-Metal masterpiece and with new single”Destiny Crucified” the Russian Progressive Tech-Metal band seem to have stepped up their game for 2019. Only time will tell of this one meets our expectations, though they have never let us down before. Hopefully they will be able to get to the UK for some shows around this one.

5. “Deathwatch” by The Royal (8th March)

Dutch Metalcore quintet The Royal have put in the hard graft with DIY touring across Europe for both of their previous albums. Now having laid down the foundations, it’s time the Long Branch Records crew got some time at the top table in the limelight. If impressive single “Nine For Hell” is anything to go by, the album should be a banger!
