The 12 Days of Christmas #10: “Repentless” by Slayer!

The festivity of the twelve days of Christmas runs from 25th December to 5th January, based on an English Christmas Carol that sees a lover give gifts cumulatively over the Christmas season starting with Christmas Day. Originally published in 1780, it’s probably French in origin, Skull Island has been conquered many times in it’s rich heritage. So for the twelve days, we’re doing twelve Metal tracks that have something to do with the item. Beer or Coffee? The sun has to be over the yard arm somewhere upon this Earth, right?!

“On the Tenth day of Christmas my true love gave to me Ten lords a-leaping, Nine ladies dancing, Eight maids a-milking, Seven Swans a-swimming, Six geese-laying, Five gold rings, Four calling birds, Three French hens, Two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree”

Ten. That’s the number of officially recognised awards that Slayer won during their illustrious career which allegedly came to an end in 2019. If you believe Kerry King’s wife then there “is not a chance in Hell” that Slayer will get back together. You can read more on that here. We’re not so convinced. Hell freezes over from time to time and obscure things happen so don’t believe the hype. Those awards in full;
