NEWS: Deus Sabaoth wage religious war?

Ukrainian Black Metal entity Deus Sabaoth have prepared for us a feast fit for a King in album “Cycle Of Death” with the title track now streaming for your listening pleasure. While not billed as a concept record, the lyrical narrative reflects on different perspectives on religion and the existential concerns of those who confront their mortality while rejecting any religious beliefs. These themes delve into a personal, internal struggle, exploring the complex emotions and conflicts faced by those who question the very nature of existence. Sounds pretty deep. Pre-orders for the 17th January arrival are available over at bandcamp.

The band comment: “Cycle Of Death is a journey through the bleak and twisted minds of its characters, captured across seven intense tracks. The album delves deep into the contrasts between the architects of faith and the consumed followers, revealing the dark interplay between belief, manipulation, and desperation. At its core lies the eponymous track, “Cycle Of Death,” which anchors the album’s central theme: the acceptance of death, the stark recognition of life’s futility, and the inescapable loneliness. In its relentless exploration of the vanity of existence, the album invites listeners to confront the idea that, in death, humanity is ultimately isolated, no matter the illusion of belief
