NEWS: “Play Stupid Games, Win Stupid Prizes” say Katapult!

Melodic Death Metal charged Thrashers Katapult opened our eyes with a single titled  “Nihilism for the Gods”. The track serves as the first preview of the outfit’s debut album “Play Stupid Games, Win Stupid Prizes” which arrives on 25th November 2022 via Discouraged Records. Described as a merry-go-round of dark emotions ranging from blistering rage to immense sorrow, all sprinkled with a layer of attitude, the band have no less than 6 music videos in the works for the record as they continue to maintain a high visual presence. Guitarist Florian Moritz comments: “‘Nihilism for the Gods’ started as a song about total exhaustion from fighting your everyday battles and being vulnerable. Then it turned into something bigger about the human duality and sheer disgust of people’s behavior and how the big picture is connected to our very own and personal battles we have each day.”
