NEWS: Augurium explore “Ancient Grimoire”!

Promising something of a style shift into a more Technical realm, Canadian Death Metal five piece Augurium have set 25th August as the release date for their next album “Unearthly Will”. Slamming riffs in a variety of time signatures over an artillery shelling of percussion it will no doubt quench the thirst for heavy, filthy riffs and low guttural screams. As you might expect the first single “Ancient Grimoire” is a haunting and guttural monstrosity with pre-orders available over at bandcamp.

The band explains more: “Musically this was the first time we’ve ever introduced any form of clean singing into an Augurium song. Although it’s blended with some very evil and filthy guttural lines, it’s honestly haunting when you hear all of the vocal lines paired with the orchestral background pieces. Lyrically there is a theme of finding synchronicities between books across a wide variety of authors and time periods in an abstract fashion”
