NEWS: Throat Locust see blood in the water!

Inspired by his friends’ teenage-like excitement at the set of Gatecreeper at Knotfest 2021 Eric Calvert (of prolific sludge metal titans Switchblade Jesus) set out to recreate that moment through music. He returned home to Corpus Christi reinvigorated with passion, and conscripted fellow metal soldiers Rob Cantu, Adrian Cavazos, Alex Gregory (merch handler of Switchblade Jesus) and Gil Perez (of slam purveyors Filth Entombed) to write sick riffs and heavy insanity. Having risen to prominence with their 2022 demo EP “Dragged Through Glass“​, Texas Groove Death merchants Throat Locust haven’t looked back and continue to waterfall release lethal doses of hatred.
