NEWS: Fourth Dominion have bloodstained hands and no alibi?

Based on the evidence we’ve heard this far, it seems that Rochester New York based three piece Fourth Dominion have cracked the code they created with 2017 album “Wings of a Dying Crow” with their 1st August releasing new album “Diana’s Day“. The Darkwave outfit have premiered another tune from that in “Bloodstains” which suggests the overall album will once again be an emotionally dense and literate blend of Punk, Gothic Rock and Metal…

Bassist and vocalist Meadow Wyand reflects: “‘Bloodstains’ is a song about transition. It discusses coming out, the blood that’s spilled in the process, and the scars it leaves behind. It speaks to the feeling of inhabiting a new skin while everyone around you sees your dead self.

It was the first song I wrote for Diana’s Day. I remember showing it to our friend Mike from Nuclear Tomb, who played guitar for the band at the time. He pointed out the resemblance to Siouxsie’s ‘Spellbound’ and Hüsker Dü’s ‘Pink Turns to Blue.’ I think you can also hear the influence of Sentenced, Maiden, and even a little Nirvana.
