NEWS: Straight For The Sun practice dentistry!

You’d think that with a slot on the New Blood Stage at Bloodstock Open Air Festival in just a few days time to prepare for Straight For The Sun would stop writing new material and concentrate on rehearsals. But seemingly inspired by their Burningham surroundings and od course peers in Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Napalm Death, the Alternative Metal outfit have other ideas. “Pulling Teeth” is the first taste of new music from them in two years, so put it on in the car on the way to the Festival and you should have the chorus nailed for a sing-a-long by the time you arrive!

Vocalist Callum Green comments: “The song itself became a journey of self doubt. Being overwhelmed with pressure was getting the better of the band. However, by looking introspectively about how we make music, we were able to use that to inspire the lyrics and vibe of the song, which we think a lot of other people can relate to in regards to anything they are passionate about”
