NEWS: Misanthropia laugh in the face of legend?

Spending twenty years or more wandering the wilderness with just legendary producer and engineer Mike Wead (Mercyful Fate, King Diamond) for company has made Misanthropia the product of its genes and experiences. Stripping out the symphonic touches of their prior works and choosing a path of Blackened fury Death Metal aggression, not so long ago the offered “Envy The Dead” and album which represents a descent into Historical madness. From that they have shared a music lyric video for “Malediction And Laughter“, a track which tells the tale of Lizzie Borden was accused of hacking her father and stepmother to death with an axe in 1892, yet was controversially acquitted in a sensational trial. The eerie nursery rhyme, “Lizzie Borden took an axe…” still echoes through pop culture today, feeding the fascination with the case’s unsolved mystery…
