NEWS: New vocalist, new drummer, new album from The Fifth Alliance!

Recorded by Lander Cluyse at Hearse Studio in Belgium and mixed and mastered by Mendel bij de Leij (ex-Aborted) a new album from The Fifth Alliance finds them joined by new vocalist Natalya Thelen (ex-Yantras) and drummer Peter Scheffer (Soliton). Thematically “Stenahoria” emerges from shared human experiences of sorrow, fear and confinement, emotions that permeate every layer of the album. These themes shape not only the lyrical narratives but also the music itself, pushing the band toward more aggressive, immersive and oppressive terrain as they once again push boundaries between Doom, Post-Metal and Black metal. It’s set to be released on 28th April via Ardur Records with “Phoenix” the first single.

The band comment: “In ‘Phoenix,’ we confront the weight of repetition, the cycle of burning, rising, and falling that, reflects the emotional struggle at the heart of Stenahoria. The song exposes the exhaustion beneath constant renewal, where transformation becomes a mask rather than a truth. Musically, the track coils around that tension, blazing in crushing intensity and smoldering in restraint. With ‘Phoenix,’ we stop pretending the fire cleanses us and instead choose to feel its heat fully. It proposes a refusal to rise automatically, and a commitment to finding meaning in the ashes.”
