NEWS: KOH admit to acts of blasphemy!

Ahead of appearances at TerrorLoud Festival and Swelterfest this summer Darwin Australian Metalcore merchants KOH have dropped scorching new single “Blasphemous” alongside the announcement of a debut record. They’re calling “Golden Death” an EP but at seven tracks it will be an album on streaming services with a 1st July release date locked in. The five piece have come a long way since inception in 2021 as a bedroom project for vocalist Andy Kala and guitarist Kieran Pearce, drawing influence from Metalcore, Groove Metal and DJent before landing the knock out punch with 2025 single “River Mirror” which also features on the record.

Vocalist Andy Kala: “The term Golden Death, to me, means a different type of ‘end’. One that is more sacred and not as grounded in the physical end of something living and breathing. It is change, one so painful and great, ‘…It feels like needles deep in (my) skin…’ Whether it’s from a past of trauma and heartbreak, or a toxic pattern inhibiting your way of living; Golden Death is the painful transformation into something greater.
