NEWS: The Noctambulant return to the swamps?
Having spent the past thirteen years spreading the culture of Southern Appalachia through their unique interpretation of Black Metal inspired by the likes of Celtic Frost, Venom and Dark Funeral, Jacksonville Florida natives The Noctambulant have now fully embraced the haunting atmospherics of Southern Gothic traditions. Honouring the myths, spirits and eerie folklore they offer new album “Revival” on 18th September via Terminus Hate City Records and before that new single “San Martino“.
The band comment: “‘San Martino’ tells the legend of the lost Florida monastery swallowed by the swamp – a tale eerily similar to that of Roanoke. It’s believed that the faithful disturbed ancient spirits, and the creatures of the swamp exacted a deadly price for their intrusion”.
