After the success of 2019’s “Fractal Dissonance” from Djent fueled Deathcore act Pearl Of Horus from Malmö in Sweden, created by the writing pair of vocalist Alexander Andersson and multi instrumentalist John Picado, the band have dropped an anvil heavy new single in “Imaginary Friend“, recording, mixing and mastering in house. Having declared that 2021 was “the year that the hollow sun rises“, we’ve been left wondering if that is an indication as to title of the EP they have been working on for 18 months or more, declaring last May that they might have scrapped a few tracks that simply were not heavy enough…
