NEWS: Spread Thin celebrate a whole new world…
When it comes to making music, there are certain sub-genres that you would expect to work well together. For their unique blend, Wisconsin natives Spread Thin take a base of Hardcore and add the spices of Powerviolence, Grind and Sludge to ensure they satisfy in ways that other bands simply cannot. Developed in a live atmosphere, the rehearsal space was where the chainsaw riffs and barked vocals that form their debut album “World of Snakes” were blended and as evidence they have submitted “Factory Job” ahead of the 26th July unveiling.
The band comment: “Working in a factory sucks. It’s very straining on your body, tedious, and downright cruel sometimes. You may end up working one for years and years until boom one day you get to retire. By that point, your body will more than likely be so worn out you don’t get to enjoy life at that point. This song is just a venting session for anyone out there who has had it, and damn near at the point where sanity is getting hard to maintain.”
