NEWS: Combust make themselves everyone’s enemies!
Recorded with Zach Miller at Landmine Studios, the long awaited, highly anticipated sophomore album “Belly Of The Beast” by Combust will finally appear on 7th March via new label home Triple B Records. A guest heavy record, it showcases community within the hardcore scene and beyond with features from members of Terror, Mindforce, Crown Of Thornz, Dmize, Imposter and rapper Rome Streetz across twelve tracks of furious intent with “Everyone’s Enemy” the latest preview from it. 29th March in Brooklyn, New York will see a record release show at Gold Sounds with support from Illusion, Burning Lord, Bazooka, Fatal Realm and All 4 All.
Vocalist Andrew Vacante shares on the song’s lyrics: “People are too quick to shake everyone’s hands and be friends even if it means compromising their morals or beliefs, especially in hardcore if they are trying to just use people as a stepping stone or ladder for some pipe dream of fame they aspire to reach. It’s hard to tell who’s genuine or who wants to be your friend anymore. It’s all fake smiles and waves. I’ve always been first to speak my mind no matter who is hurt by the things I say…that isn’t a corny attempt at shock value, I just point it out because I feel people are too scared to give their honest opinion on anything anymore. Might not be the best advice on how to navigate your life but that’s just how it is to me.”
