NEWS: Undecayed paint “In Death’s Image”!

Wrapped in cover artwork by the legendary Jon Zig (Twitch of the Death Nerve, Suffocation, Disgorge) a debut album from death obsessed Swedish Death Metal quartet Undecayed is on the horizon. Uniting former members of Gardens of Obscurity, The Darksend and Dormitory, “In Death’s Image” will see the cold light of day on 21st May via Lethal Scissor Records, the follow up to a well received 2011 demo with drummer Jesper Leidbring the only member not involved in that. Curiously the band eschew the traditional HM-2-driven Swedish sound in favor of a raw and relentless approach deeply rooted in the ferocity of ’90s American Death Metal sound. Oh and one other thing. The word ‘death’ in the title of every song, “In Death’s Image” takes its thematic obsession to another level: in one track, the word for ‘death’ is even sung in 19 different languages. The first single is the title track.
