NEWS: Devs Mortvorvm escape the crypt!

Back in November last year Chilean Death-Doom cult Devs Mortvorvm unveiled a music video for a song called “The Oldest Crypt“. It combines a demo version of the song with images of the band filmed live at their first ever gig, which took place at MiBar in Santiago, Chile on 13th September 2024 and some graveyard footage filmed at the Catholic Cemetery. That song has since become the title track of their debut EP, a 6th June release via Apocalyptic Productions on the cards, the promise of a putrid sermon steeped in the stench of traditional death metal and the mournful crawl of doomed melodies.

The record comprises three original compositions recorded between July 2023 and September 2024 at Black Sheep Studios, a cover of “Acid Orgy” by Goatlord and a live rendition of “Orgy in the Graveyard” recorded on 20th December 2024 at the aforementioned MiBar. Dare we mention that the band features members of Blackflow, The Black Harvest, Saturno and Poema Arcanvs in their ranks? Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp.
