Playthrough: “Magnum Opus” from Burial Path!

Following the news of the depature of vocalist Aïcha Finnleikr, Mid-Western Post-Deathcore outfit Burial Path have shared a guitar playthrough for their last single “Magnum Opus“. Mixed and mastered by Brutalist Audio (Instinct, Blackbile, Hollow Decay), the question is will it be the last graced by her voice?

Guitarist Matthew McClure comments: “Swallow the sun and become every shade of green. I’m happy to present my guitar playthrough of Magnum Opus. This track instrumentally is the most simple I’ve written, but I really wanted to have the guitar as more of a supporting role in the song to make the overall atmosphere feel cinematic; like you’re listening to a movie soundtrack rather than a Deathcore band.”
