July 1988 saw the release of the hilariously titled “Frolic Through The Park“, the sophomore album from San Francisco bay area Thrash Metallers Death Angel. It’s earned the band the leap to major label Geffen Records and being a more diverse album that the bands debut including a cover of “Cold Gin” by Kiss seemed to give them more appeal, while tipping their hat in thanks to MTV, who played single “Bored” regularly on the program.
