They may have only released their sophomore album “Here And Now” in April but five months on and Finnish Progressive Metal trio Joviac have returned with a new single and music video. The song is called “Misplaced” and has drums that were recorded at the pristine Electric Fox Studios in Jyväskylä before mixing by Janne Korpela and mastering by Teemu Liekkala (Red Eleven). It appears one day before Joviac’s gig at Tiivistämö, Helsinki on Friday September 11th is streamed free worldwide. So don’t forget to check the streaming links on Joviac’s Facebook page.

Viljami Wenttola’s comments: “Misplaced is an intensely personal song for me. I wrote the lyrics when I was in a dark place in my life. I was dealing with the aftermath of a breakup and since music is a form of therapy for me, those emotions leaked into this song. I was dealing with a lot of guilt because I was the one who ended the relationship even though I cared for that person deeply. So I painted this picture in my head of myself as some kind of villain, but ultimately it just came down to the fact that emotionally I wasn’t in the right place at the right time in my life.”
