NEWS: The Daily Chase return with “Killjoy”!

Once again working with long term collaborator Chris Lalic (Windwaker, The Last Martyr, To Octavia) South Australian Metalcore outfit, The Daily Chase are back with their second single, “Killjoy” from their forthcoming EP, ‘The Colour of Crisis‘, to be released 8th April. Lalic produced, mixed and mastered the EP itself with the single accompanied by a narrative-based video by Headstrong Films. Mirroring the track theme, the video tells a story of two best friends living recklessly and partying their life away until the pair decide to make a break from their idle life, turning down a criminal path to their ultimate detriment.

“Killjoy” explores choices and ultimately being torn between living a good life and being tempted down a darker path when life feels to have lost its purpose. “Everyone can have an evil side, for someone with no purpose it can become uncontrollable” explains the band. “We all make choices in life that define us as the people we are and the people we want to be”
