NEWS: Acres hold on in a lonely World?

It seems it’s no longer such a lonely World for Acres as the Post-Hardcore act have announced that they will join US genre enthusiasts Being As An Ocean in December for a run of six shows. Having broken a near three year leave of absence with single “Burning Throne” earlier this summer, the south coast quartet have premiered another new offering in “Hold On” which more or less accompanies the tour news with a propensity for stadium sized riffs and soaring epic choruses.

Vocalist Ben Lumber explains the meaning behind the single: “‘Hold On’ is a very personal song to me, it’s about watching someone you love destroy everything around them and being able to do nothing about it.”

Those shows break down as follows:

06.12.22 – Cardiff, Clwb Ifor Bach
07.12.22 – Glasgow, Cathouse
08.12.22 – Birmingham, Mama Roux’s
09.12.22 – Leeds, Key Club
10.12.22 – London, Underworld
11.12.22 – Manchester, Club Academy
