NEWS: Black Coast seek Mercy when it hurts?

Having recovered from writers block, as Stoke Nu-Metalcore merchants Black Coast prepare to head out for another run of shows – this time with Cut Short in tow – the band have dropped a new single titled “Mercy“. It’s their first new material since 2021’s partly crowd funded album “Outworld” and a personal one for vocalist Charlie Hewitt.

Charlie Hewitt comments: “Mercy ~ is a song about my own thoughts on how I’ve let others see me for myself and the struggle of doing so. It’s difficult to not just introvert yourself so much that you let no one in at all, this song is about trying to do so not everything with this ep is as self loathing but more learning about how to cope with myself as my mind changes and life does”
