NEWS: Mortalus select the intended victims?

It may have been some five years in the making but the follow up to 2018’s “Heart So Black” from Little Rock, Arkansas Metal trio Mortalus has given the opportunity for vocalist and guitarist “Metal” Michelle Gann to drive what looks like a Pontiac Trans-Am, the car used in Knight Rider. She does that in the music video for “Intended Victims”, the first single from “We Are Human“, which drops on 24th February.

For those not in the know, the trio have  influences range from the Big Four to Judas Priest and Iron Maiden meaning they cross Thrash with Progressive and Traditional Metal while their style makes them a cocktail of equal parts classic and modern, heavy and melodic, power and finesse, focused and loose. As the single hints at, impactful events such as a global pandemic, political and worldwide turmoil, addiction, inequality and prejudice, losing family members, decayed friendships, and re-evaluation of one’s own perspective all went into the making of “We Are Human“…
