As a cut it marks the first collaboration between Vesicarum vocalist Grymm Neve and Wicked Stone guitarist Dave Austin while channeling the pairs mutual love of both Archspire and Shadow of Intent.

The song channels substantial emotional heft for Neve: “This song is written about my cousin who struggled with cancer as a child” he states. “[They] eventually passed away”
