NEWS: Copehill Down escape conviction?

Named after an abandoned Military training village, Copehill Down write musings on the collapse of society and spiritual depravation accompanied by Metalcore inspired by August Burns Red and Unearth with flavours of DJent and Groove. The band have a two part EP “The Design, The Disaster” scheduled for 2023 with the first half said to drop on 21st April. What’s actually on the first half of the record remains to seen but a second single in “Captive Conviction” to follow last month’s “World One” suggests three or four in total…

The band comment: “The song is about indoctrination and the arrogance of particular power structures such as empirical science, and the impact this has had on the beliefs of the masses and their connection to a spiritual aspect of life. The song highlights that the loss of our awareness of our ‘spiritual selves’, not necessarily in relation to organised religion, is a symptom of the decline of human nature and civilisation
