NEWS: Pulverise… Raiders of the Lost Ark?

One of the many highlights of last year’s incarnation of Rabidfest, West Yorkshire quintet Pulverise have unleashed their first new material in five years with single “Tomb Raiderz“. It promises to be the first of a treature trove as the band have made the decision to focus on new material for the year, breaking out of the studio to play the odd festival and doesn’t reference Angelina Jolie… or does it?!

The band comment; “Egyptian vibes that’s materialised in this powerful song. Walk through and explore the different “tombs” of our minds and our different personalities. Accepting our flaws whilst embracing our strengths. 

It’s an analogy of tomb and raiding, – exploring the different ‘rooms’ of the mind, trying to work out what’s wrong instead of celebrating what’s right.  

Some of those rooms might be dark, others provoke the realisation of mortality and Jojo’s (our glorious singer) favourite room is where she feels like a GODDESS.

Jojo draws inspiration from the incredible and powerful Egyptian queens of history and feels most confident and empowered in the room where she can channel that energy. 

We all have different sides of ourselves that we show to the world, and it’s important to celebrate those moments when we feel truly ourselves. Celebrate these powerful moments with us where feel our most powerful!
