Playthrough: “A Familiar Face” from Break Fifty!

Curiously labelled “3”, the reanimated Nu-Metal indulgence that is Break Fifty have shared a one take vocal performance for new single “A Familiar Face (Of Someone I Never Knew)“. Showcasing the skills of new vocalist Angus Roberton, it was recorded by Ryan Murray at 105mm Studios and is their first since 2021 EP “Unnerved“. Be warned, it’s not for the faint of heart.

Angus Roberton comments: “A Familiar Face (Of Someone I Never Knew) is an expression of childhood trauma. The main focus in lyrics within this song quotes “the end of eternal youth”, This can be taken as upon the instance of trauma it can often feel as if your youth has been stripped away and all joy of childhood has been tarnished.
