NEWS: Cromlech preview “Cold and Stiff”!

While German Black Metallers Dies Ater may have begun their terror campaign upon the World in 1994, their drummer Impurus had a solo project called Cromlech that predates them. A demo tape was planned but never saw the cold light of day, however that is about to change. In early 2021 the Idea came back and he recorded single-handedly these old tracks again, together with completely new material in his Lighthill Studio Archaic Sound have announced they will be unveiling an album titled “Cold and Stiff“, consisting of six songs recorded in those sessions and mastered in 2023 by Andy Classen (Ryker’s, Krisiun, Kill Division) at Stage One Studio, Bühne Germany.  “Vogelfrei” (or “Outlaw“) is streaming now with pre-orders for the 30th September release available over at bandcamp.

Impurus comments: “If you want, these recordings show the Pre and Post Phase of DIES ATER and it’s great the long forgotten Idea becomes reality after 29 years. I was a long time out of creating Black Metal music and pathetically said it felt like coming home”
