16 months after the song landed as part of their “South West Heaviest Split” with Abuse, Bristol Metalcore merchants Born In Dissonance have dropped a music video for “Blackest Dog“. The road warriors have continued to play shows a plenty this year, sharing stages with Chaos Sequence, Fox Womb and After Smoke Clears to name but a few so what are the chances of new material in 2024?

The band comment: “This song is about finding the strength to overcome the grips of mental health despite the fear of it coming back. It is the rallying cry for those who refuse to lay down and live a life devoid of the beauty we deserve. No one is coming to help you. We must find the courage to seek support and grant ourselves the acceptance to not feel guilty about our journey. And remember it is okay to grow. We are not our emotions. Our legacy is deeper”
