NEWS: Slaughtersun premier debut single “Fall of the Firmament”!

Sometimes you hear something and it causes you do to a double take like… say what?! This is one of those moments. Featuring in their ranks not one but two members of American Progressive Rock outfit Thank You Scientist as well as members of Tombstoner and Cranial Damage are a new sound in Death Metal called Slaughtersun. Masterminded by Ben Karnas who began writing for the project back in 2017, the line up was fully fleshed out in 2022 with the band rehearsing and recording their debut album in 2023. The first single from that is “Fall of the Firmament“.

Ben Karas comments “Lyrically this song combines the lore of the Nephilim, which are a race of giant angels rumoured to be responsible for the great flood, and pits that dynamic against the tech age and the giant names of that industry mimicking the decadence and ugliness that brought about the end times.”
