Bootleg: “Infernal Dawn” from Sinistrum!

Having show their tarot cards to the World with their debut EP “Trichotomy of Death” in July 2022, Kentucky Death Thrash outfit Sinistrum caught the attention of Morbid and Miserable Records. A deal was quickly inked in blood for the bands debut album to be released on cassette on 2nd February 2024 with Adirondack Black Mass set do release compact disc versions on the same date and then vinyl when production capacity allows. The band, who feature in their ranks members of Abominant, Effigy, Blood Curse and Coffin Stench have been around since the dawn of 2020 with the last piece of the puzzle being vocalist Scott Briggs who joined in 2021. Briggs importance isn’t to be understated as while the record is adorned by artwork from Juanjo Castellano (Abominated, The Bleeding, Darkened), it has his sticky paw prints on the recording, mixing and mastering. That debut album is titled “Infernal Dawn” with the title track streaming in studio form a couple of weeks back although curiously live renditions of the cut have been circulating in cyberspace since January 2023.
