NEWS: Drungi dance in the dark…
A song that was originally inspired by one of thier earliest demos that did not make the cut for the album, a second single in “Myrkur” (or “Dark“) tracks the feeling of darkness and depression that we all feel inside of us. Some feel the pull of its gravity more greatly while others find it easier to return to the light. Constructed with a heavy waltz simulating a dance macabre, it’s preparation for “Hamfarir Hugans” from Icelandic Metal act Drungi which will appear on 5th April and is available for pre-order over at bandcamp.
The band comment: “We don’t know what happens in the darkness and how it will affect our life, and that’s the scary idea that happens in the musical part of Myrkur. Depression, You can let the darkness control you but you must remember to turn on the light that only oneself can turn on. The darkness can be obsessive but it is dangerous if it’s used wrong on others and yourself… but we are the darkness and we want you to join us”
