NEWS: Konvolted believe in eye for an eye?
Featuring Kyle Thomas of Exhorder providing vocals an unholy trinity of tracks, “Inscriptions“, a new album from German Groove Thrash collective Konvolted is set for 26th July. A compilation of covers that celebrates the underground Metal scene, demos and tape trading, it looks to be a very intriguing prospect. The latest sample cut from it is “Vow Of Vengeance“, originally recorded in 1985 by I4NI for a demo called “It’s All Fun & Games til Someone Loses An Eye…” which had Exodus drummer Tom Hunting behind the kit…
The band comment: “Inscriptions is a tribute to 20th century underground Thrash Metal. The songs have been written by German, Italian, US, and Japanese bands Tenebra, Mindless, Fifty Lashes, I4NI, Pain Principle, Flash Terrorist, False Prophet, Thane, Sindrome, and Terror Squad, originally released on their demos between 1987-1996. These songs have been re-recorded by Konvolted in a kindred way.”
