NEWS: Lurking Terror announce “A World in Darkness”!

Having roots that go back to the 1980’s and a trio of members who were originally part of Sadistic Intent, Los Angeles is the place that Lurking Terror call home. Playing an old school grinding death metal style, the band have been together three years in their current incarnation, taking their name from the opening cut of the 1990 Sadistic Intent EP “Impending Doom” releasing a twin track demo last year. Those tales of death, darkness and torment caught the attention of M-Theory Audio who have inked a deal with the five piece for an EP “A World in Darkness” which is now set for a 15th November release via the label. Perhaps it was the offer of 200 copies of limited edition vinyl to get them started that sweetened the deal but the band have offered up “This Is War” as a taste of what’s to come…

The band comment: “We’re happy and honoured to announce our signing to M-Theory Audio. After being friends with Marco Barbieri for over 30 years, we knew it was the right label to sign to. Marco understands what Lurking Terror is about and we look forward to working together. Our debut is a 5-song EP titled ‘A World of Darkness’. The first song and lyric video for ‘This is War’ shows an idea of  Lurking Terror’s style of Death Metal with lyrics influenced by past conquering wars. The video speaks for itself.”
