Not to be confused with Brazilian Death Metal quartet Crypta, Ukrainian Dark Metal seven piece Krypta have set 25th October as the release date for their self titled debut album with the release of single “Ftor“. That’s one of eight to appear on the record from a band who have focused on melody and musicality rather than adherence to a particular genre since forming in 2014. Heavy rhythms organically coexist with soulful vocal parts, growls and violin in their world, where elements of Jazz, Funeral Doom and Brutal Death Metal are all in the mix.
