NEWS: Crowen return from darkness?

It has been three years since EP “Prophecy” appeared from Finnish Melodic Death Metal duo Crowen so Inverse Records will be happy to note that the pair are plotting to release “Where The Darkness Falls” via the label this autumn. While there is no artwork or confirmed date as yet, the band have chosen “Dark Forever” as the first single and shared a music video which tells the story of an afterlife where darkness, beauty and a sense of anguish are present. The song also addresses the question of whether it is possible to come out of the darkness. The melodic guitars on the track were added by Khroma guitarist Mikko Merilinna, while Wolfheart and Before The Dawn bassist Tuomas Saukkonen appears on all of the EPs tracks.

Crowen frontman Esa Uusimaa: ”The darkness served as my inspiration for this song. The afterlife is an intriguing topic, and I drew my ideas from it into the lyrics. Eventually, the lyrics of this song became the theme of the entire EP”
