Documentary: The Road to Maryland Doom Fest 2024 with Ten Ton Slug!

Sometimes you don’t need to write an introduction because a band write one of there own that covers all bases. Having previously shared their full set at Maryland Doom Fest as filmed by Eric Lenhoff, Irish Sludge Metal crew Ten Ton Slug have now added to that with a documentary featurette. You know what you’re in store for. Blood, beer and some questionable snacks as the bright lights of the USA become a cold reality.

The band comment: “In summer 2024, a craic commando slime unit was sent from Ireland to the USA to play riffs at the Maryland Doom Fest and at two warm up shows on the US east coast. These individuals promptly escaped from a maximum security rented chevy to go on the pints. Today, still wanted by their credit union overdraft managers, they survive as slugs of fortune. If you like riffs, if no one else can help, and if you have pickles…. maybe you need… Ten Ton Slug… Huge thanks to everyone who helped us out and to everyone we met along the way!
