NEWS: Mental Torment get arty in black and white!

…with “Dead Shot Revival” still ringing in our ears a music video directed and produced by Mental Torment guitarist and vocalist Maria Vynohradska has surfaced for one called “PISOK“. The Kyiv based Death Doom Metal act have been a growing concern since 2009 with their latest burnt offering being a 100% Ukrainian language album so if you like what you hear, you can find it over at bandcamp.

The band comment: “With this music video we invite you to step into the mind of an artist which combines the haunting beauty and tragic struggle of creativity intertwined with mental torment. Immersing us into the early 20th century, the burgeoning literary era, this music video audiences us the psychological turmoil faced by the protagonist. He delves into the complexity of his thoughts as he navigates through a tumultuous landscape of time, memory, and reality. In process of creating this work we we had a kind of short movie, an interpretaion of Schizophrenia and other mental illnesses faced by a lot of people regardless of the passage of time. We recommend the use of headphones during the viewing process to fully immerse yourself in the story.”
