NEWS: Pathogenic share title track from upcoming new album!

As we know, Boston’s resurgent Technical Death Metal force Pathogenic are preparing to unveil “Crowned in Corpses” on 7th February via Skepsis Recordings, their first full length release in five years. Unshackled from hiatus and reborn a new, the Progressive Death Metal quintet weaves together labyrinthine riffs, relentless rhythms and chilling visions of a decaying world with the title track streaming now in music video form. Shot by Nick Court of Killing It Entertainment it confirms the power of the new band built from the ground up around original vocalist Jake Burns.

Vocalist Jake Burns comments on the song: “Lyrically, ‘Crowned in Corpses’ forces an acknowledgment of the bloodlust and brutality that drive wars of conquest. The opening command to “spill the blood of your enemies” is presented without justification, setting the tone for a song that makes no attempt to explain or rationalize the violence it depicts. This deliberate absence underscores the role of media and political narratives in making such conflicts more palatable. Wars of conquest spread unimaginable misery, and no matter the pretext, the conqueror wears a crown paid for with the blood and suffering of others.”
