NEWS: Chiaroscuro enter the realm of Ghosts?

Titled “The Maniac Father and the Convict Brother are Gone – The Poor Girl, Homeless, Friendless, Deserted, Destitute, and Gin Mad, Commits Self Murder” from the “The Drunkard’s Children” series, Plate VIII (1848) by George Cruikshank, the cover artwork that adorns the debut EP of Baltimore Melodic Death Metal act Chiaroscuro is intriguing. The five piece have shared “A Song For Ghosts” cut from the record, a 28th March via Unholy Anarchy Records in evidence of their ability to weave complexity, melody and extremity into a cohesive, immersive experience. Based on a writing partnership formed by guitarist and song writer Nick Temoshok and vocalist and lyricist Cassiopeia when they met in another band, the project grew a life of its own and will soon bare fruit…
