NEWS: For The Pyres announce “At The Pyres Of Sin”!

Opening track “All Becomes None” is the first burnt offering from “At The Pyres Of Sin” a new album from Swedish Death Metal horde For The Pyres. Rising from their collective graves in 2019 the band formed with a desire to write music that they genuinely enjoyed and that reflected their musical roots. The creative process was driven by instinct, allowing the music to flow naturally and ensuring an authentic, raw edge in their sound. After a couple of demos influenced by the HM2 sound the band chose a a darker, more atmospheric tone for their album, a 9th May via Gruesome Records. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp.

For us, it symbolizes the heart and soul poured into the art we admire: a passion that burns fiercely, like an unrelenting fire. Our lyrics dive into the darker sides of humanity and spirituality, exploring themes like historical turmoil, religion, death, war, and plague. They are deliberately written to leave room for open interpretation, inviting listeners to find their own meaning within the songs. The narratives are often intentionally obscure, with stories presented in fragments and layers rather than straightforward tales. This approach draws you in, immersing you in the raw emotions and haunting moods.”
