A defiant and emotionally-charged critique of religious warfare and generational suffering in the so-called Holy Lands, delivered with the kind of raw intensity and unflinching honesty that has come to define War Of Attrition as rising force in Irish metal, “The Devil You’ve Become” is a first glimpse of their debut album. Sharing a wide range of influences as diverse as Punk, Traditional and Death Metal, the outfit formed in 2020 with a mission: to make heavy, thought-provoking music that doesn’t pull its punches.
