NEWS: Split Chain to make it a summer to remember with “Subside”?

Ahead of a European tour  this summer which includes Mystic Festival in Poland, Download Festival in the UK and Resurrection Fest in Spain, Split Chain are building up to the release of their debut album. The Bristol quintet who seamlessly blend Nu-Metal, Emo, Shoegaze, Grunge and Metallic Hardcore have premiered a music video for “Subside” from the eleven track affair, set for ironically enough, an 11th July release via Epitaph Records. It’s name? “motionblur

Frontman Bert Martinez-Cowles comments: “Subside’ is a call-out song to the antagonists in everybody’s life. It’s a break out from the judgemental, close-minded people who consistently try to bring you down to their shitty level. ‘Subside’ is the realisation that you are under no obligation to anyone and owe nothing to any of those people. Free yourself from the dead weight in your life and allow yourself to grow past them so you can thrive and live life in a way that works for you.”
