Rooted in Scandinavian Melodic Death Metal traditions and citing influences in Insomnium, In Flames and Amon Amarth are Finland natives Champions Of Sorrow. After they gave us EP “The Night Makes Us” back in September a pair of seemingly standalone singles have surfaced, the second of which is “So Far From What I’ve Become“. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Saku Moilanen (Bloodred Hourglass, Wolfheart) at Deepnoise Studios with guitars recorded by Juuso Turkki of The Hypothesis it might just have some Brutal Death Metal influences in the vocals…
