NEWS: Cult Burial brace for impending doom!
A record about erosion of structures, of certainty and of meaning, Cult Burial take what we know and dissolve it before our very eyes with their new album “Collapse of Pattern, Reverence of Dust“. Dissonant guitars, relentless drums and death growled vocals all wrapped in a shroud of Black, Death and Doom Metal provide the hellscape as multi instrumentalist Simon Langford and vocalist César Moreira tear us apart. Where their compositions previously explored themes of existentialism, decay and the human psyche, now they fall into the space between a blink and a tear. Shattering the frameworks we hold onto with their aggression fuelled despair that is both oppressive and thought-provoking they share “Collapse” ahead of the arrival of the 5th September releasing affair. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp.
The band comment: “Each song peels back the layers between memory and oblivion, order and chaos. Built on jagged riffs and drenched in haunting textures, this album traces the gradual decay of mind, identity, and ritual. From the first shudder of collapse to that final, ash-choked breath, it offers no solace.”
