NEWS: Unrecht 1001 nightmares: a space odyssey?

It might be a little while off but Industrial Metal act Unrecht have announced a new album titled “A Thousand and One Nightmares” for delivery to us via Art Gates Records on 12th December. That news comes alongside cover artwork but no obligatory first single so here’s “We are number one but…” to tell you what they’re all about.

Diving into the meaning behind the artwork by Pablo Cano Montalvo, the band reveals: “With the art of this album we were looking for a fusion between the elegance and simplicity of the Art Deco style, a metaphor for the progress of society, and the darkest of this. A gray and depressing city, with dim lights that gradually fade showing the decadence of this and how one must go into it to overcome their own demons.”

Musically, “A Thousand and One Nightmares” is described by the band as: “Born from Industrial metal and molded in the most current metalcore, the combination of electronics with heavier passages results in the strength of this Unrecht’s presentation letter. All this, together with the tandem of voices formed between Und and Druma, with dark and realistic lyrics, end up forming the appropriate sound for the thousand and one nightmares that make up this LP.
