NEWS: Thirteen Goats take a walk on the wild side!

Ahead of appearances at Loud As Hell Open Air, Mosh The Rock and Party in the Park 3 festivals in August, Vancouver natives Thirteen Goats have returned to last summers album “Capricorn Rising” for a David Lynch inspired music video for “Animal Kingdom“. A cathartic duet between guest vocalist Carly Ellen Jones and lead singer Graham K. Miles that moved between unsettling patterns of arpeggiated chords and ominous grooves, its one of the bands more avant-garde works. In separate news, the outfit have also been nominated by the Western Canadian Music Awards for Metal & Hard Music Artist of the Year alongside Anciients, Torrefy, Art of Attrition and Holy Void.

Vocalist Graham K. Miles comments: “It’s classic be-careful-what-you-wish-for stuff. In that sense, it’s thematically true to the subject matter of the song, which is a warning about the seductive appeal of extremist movements and the consequences of becoming radicalized.”
