NEWS: Impermanence head into the desert for “Sorrodise”!

A partnership between Greek label Satanath Records and their Croatian counterparts Sanatorio Records will mean the arrival of a debut album titled “Anicca” from Polish Blackened Technical Progressive Death Metal act Impermanence will arrive on 16th October. Celebrating that news the band have shared a music video for one called “Sorrodise” directed by Piotr Nowak from Młyn Records and shot in the Błędowska Desert with Katarzyna Maciąga as guest. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp

Band comments: “Anicca is a hymn to the fragility that marks our existence. The album’s name is derived from Buddhist terminology and signifies impermanence. The lyrical layer explores themes of transience and the search for purpose in the world around us. Songs begins and ends with the ticking of a clock, clearly marking both the start and the conclusion of the story being told. Each track presents a different narrative, offering a unique perspective on the somber aspects of human nature. This concept extends beyond the lyrics, shaping the band’s overall artistic identity.

Vocalist Mateusz Bednarz adds: “Sorrodise portrays the dark side of the life cycle of which each of us is a part. The video, lyrics, and atmosphere of the track quietly pose the question: can this cycle ever be broken or brought to an end? The answer to that question will likely remain unknown.
